Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 02 November 2026
Scope of This Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all bookings and purchases of services offered by buzzlino. The services covered include professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. It governs transactions made through our website for both one-off service engagements and ongoing arrangements. This policy explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed, and the circumstances under which cancellations or refunds may be available. It is intended for customers located in the United Kingdom and reflects the requirements of UK consumer law.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Prices displayed on the website include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate where applicable. Additional charges may apply for expedited scheduling, specialised equipment hire, travel expenses beyond a standard radius, or extended broadcast durations. These extras are itemised before you confirm any booking. We reserve the right to adjust prices to reflect changes in tax rates or operational costs, but any increase will not affect bookings already confirmed.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved corporate accounts. Payment is processed securely through our authorised payment providers. When you submit card details, an authorisation hold is placed on your account for the full amount. This hold is converted to a completed transaction once the booking is confirmed. All payment data is handled in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A binding contract is formed when we send you a written confirmation email after receiving your booking request and successful payment. Until that point, your request remains subject to availability and our acceptance. The confirmation email will detail the service dates, scope of work, total price, and any specific terms. You should review this email carefully as it constitutes the record of the agreement.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which you may cancel without giving a reason. However, if the service is scheduled to begin within this period and you have expressly requested that it starts early, your right to cancel may be lost once performance has begun. For services that require significant advance preparation, such as crew scheduling or equipment reservation, earlier cancellation deadlines may apply and will be stated in your confirmation email.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available where cancellation occurs within the permitted period and before substantial performance has started. Services that have already been delivered, partially completed work, or deposits used to secure third-party resources are typically non-refundable. Promotional rates, customised packages, and any elements marked as non-refundable at the time of booking fall outside standard refund provisions. We do not refund for changes in your own circumstances once the cooling-off period has expired or performance has commenced.
Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund you must contact us in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page or by emailing rbm.uk.as.programme.materials@redbeemedia.com. Your message should include your booking reference, the date of the original transaction, a clear statement that you wish to cancel, and your preferred contact details for follow-up. Requests received outside normal business hours will be processed on the next working day. You must provide sufficient information for us to identify the booking promptly.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification
Upon receipt of a complete request we will review the details against the terms of your booking. We aim to acknowledge receipt within two working days. If additional information is needed we will request it promptly. Approved refunds will be confirmed by email; rejected requests will include a clear explanation of the reason, such as the cooling-off period having expired or services already having commenced. You may appeal a decision by providing further evidence within seven days of notification.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method wherever possible. Bank transfers or card refunds are usually processed within five to ten working days, although the time for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank. We will notify you once the refund has been issued. In the event of a card refund the amount will be credited back to the same card used for payment.
Special Rules for Services and Promotional Offers
Because our offerings consist primarily of professional services rather than digital content or physical goods, the main considerations are the timing of performance and the extent of preparatory work already undertaken. Promotional offers may carry their own restrictions, which will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Subscriptions or retainer arrangements are subject to the notice periods specified in the separate service agreement.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
If a payment fails we will notify you immediately and the booking will remain provisional until successful payment is received. Duplicate charges will be investigated and any excess amount refunded without the need for a formal request. Chargebacks or disputes will be handled in accordance with card scheme rules; we may provide evidence of the contract and service delivery to the card issuer. Suspected fraudulent activity will result in the booking being suspended and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If any term of this policy is found to conflict with mandatory law, the statutory provision will prevail.
Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date
For questions about this policy or to make a request, please use the contact form on our Contacts page or email rbm.uk.as.programme.materials@redbeemedia.com. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law or business practice. The version currently in force is the one displayed on this page. The last update date appears at the beginning of the document. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
